This Privacy Policy explains how GlowScan ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit our website (the "Service").
1. Information we collect
- Selfie images. When you use the AI skin analysis or personal color tool, your photo is sent to our analysis service and processed in memory only. We do not store the original photo on disk or in any database. Only the resulting analysis report (text and scores) is retained for the duration of your session.
- Language & consent preferences. Stored in your browser via localStorage. Never transmitted to us.
- Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

2. How we use information
- To run the AI skin and personal color analysis you request.
- To improve the quality and accuracy of the Service.
- To protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Third-party services
We use the following third parties:
- AI providers (e.g. Google Gemini, OpenAI) to run image analysis. Images are transmitted securely and are not used to train models, per provider terms.
- Olive Young Global as our affiliate retail partner. When you click a product link, you are redirected to their website with an affiliate tag. We do not share your personal data with them.
- Google AdSense and Google Analytics may be used to serve ads and measure traffic. These services may set cookies and collect IP-derived data per Google's policies. You can review Google's practices at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
4. Advertising & personalization
Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ad Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
5. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

6. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Data retention
Selfies are processed in memory and discarded immediately. Server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Aggregate, non-identifying analytics may be retained longer for product improvement.
